Timothy Dickey

Associate Professor, Pontifical College Josephinum

Timothy J. Dickey, Ph.D., is a librarian, scholar, and educator whose work bridges music history, library science, and the history of the book. He has taught music history at the University of Iowa, The Ohio State University, Ohio Wesleyan University, and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and has also taught library science at Kent State University, San José State University, and the Catholic University of America.

Dickey is Associate Professor and Director of the A.T. Wehrle Library at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Ohio. His honors include the 2022 ALA-RUSA Margaret E. Monroe Award for Library Adult Services and the Kent State University iSchool 2024 Alumnus of the Year award. His book Library Dementia Services: How to Meet the Needs of the Alzheimer Community was published by Emerald in 2020.
