Music masterclasses are free and open to the public.
In a recent review, the New York Times praised the Poulenc Trio (Irina Kaplan Lande, piano; Alexander Vvedenskiy, oboe; Bryan Young, bassoon) for its "elegant rendition" of Piazzolla's Tangos. The Washington Post said the trio "does its namesake proud" in "an intriguing and beautifully played program" with "convincing elegance, near effortless lightness and grace."
This masterclass is presented in association with Duke Performances, presenting Poulenc Trio in concert on Feb. 4 at 8 pm in Baldwin Auditorium.
