Leonard Elschenbroich and Alexei Grynyuk: Chamber Music Masterclass

Renowned for their artistry and musical insight, cellist Leonard Elschenbroich and pianist Alexei Grynyuk will lead a chamber music masterclass showcasing their interpretive depth and collaborative excellence. As part of the Duke Arts Chamber Arts Series, they will also present an inspiring recital on Sunday, November 2 at 7pm. This is a rare opportunity to experience their world-class musicianship both in performance and in an educational setting.

Leonard Elschenbroich has performed with leading orchestras around the world and is a champion of contemporary music, premiering major new works. A recipient of the Leonard Bernstein Award, he co-founded the Orquesta Filarmonica de Bolivia and records for Onyx Classics. He studied at the Yehudi Menuhin School and performs on a 1693 Matteo Goffriller cello.

British-Ukrainian pianist Alexei Grynyuk appears regularly at top international festivals and venues. A prizewinner in several international competitions, he studied in Kyiv and at the Royal Academy of Music in London. A devoted chamber musician, he tours globally with violinist Nicola Benedetti and Leonard Elschenbroich.
