Rockley Family Foundation Sale

Duke University's Music Department is working in conjunction with the Rockley Family Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting music education. Musical instruments provided to music departments or otherwise made available will be sold at a significant discount from manufacturer retail pricing through this innovative program, providing valuable resources for music students.
A large selection of grands, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical (upright) pianos, digital pianos, violins, violas, and cellos will be available. This event will feature starter- to professional-level instruments from such renowned makers as Steinway & Sons, Yamaha, Seiler, Knabe, Roland, Italia Fine Violins, and many others. Most instruments are less than one year old, include a 5-10 year service contract, are tuned, and ready to go. Delivery and special no-interest financing will be available on site. Moreover, in most cases, a substantial portion of your purchase is considered a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation and may be tax-deductible.
By Appointment: You are invited to attend a special private sale on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, October 9-11, along with our faculty and staff. This will give you an opportunity to purchase with priority in selection and price reductions. To secure a time, call 919-646-8485 or click the Schedule an Appointment button. You may also attend the final sale day on Saturday, October 11, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.-no appointment required.
This event will be held on campus in Scharf Hall at the K Center, 107 Whitford Drive, Durham, NC 27708. Parking is available adjacent to the building. Virtual appointments via Zoom are also available if needed.
