Jean-Paul Montagnier

Montagnier's The Polyphonic Mass in France, 1600-1780 is the first ever book-length study of the a cappella masses which appeared in France in choirbook layout during the baroque era.

Jean-Paul C. Montagnier is Professor of Musicology at Université de Lorraine, France, and Adjunct Professor at McGill University, Montréal. He was made Officer in the Order of Arts and Letters by the French Government in 2012.
