Encounters: with the music of our time
Encounters: with the music of our time, now in its 36th season, is the Department of Music's new music concert series.
The Encounters series brings together world-class visiting artists and the works of Duke Music Department composition students. Students have the opportunity to have their works read, recorded, and performed publicly by professional ensembles like Da Capo Chamber Players, Bang on a Can, and others.
