Featuring Brahms "Sonata No. 1 in G major, Op. 78" for violin and piano, "Cave Paintings" for solo violin by Jennifer Curtis, and Senegalese kora and vocalist Diali Cissokho.
Curtis and Cissokho will offer songs of the many generations of griots in Cisskoho's West African lineage, as well as explore the universal thread that allows them to dip into the music of Appalachia, JS Bach and more.
This concert will have no intermission.
