R. Larry Todd co-authored Beethoven’s Cello: Five Revolutionary Sonatas and Their World with Marc Moskovitz. The book, published by Boydell & Brewer, discusses the cultural and historical contexts of Beethoven's cello sonatas. It is the first English-language book to examine these works in depth.
Every year, Choice publishes a list of Outstanding Academic Titles that were reviewed during the previous calendar year. The list is selective, containing approximately ten percent of some 6,000 works reviewed in Choice each year.
